| burning celluloid / eisnecker / Visualist des Monats Dez. / Vport / Quartier21 Eisnecker knupft in seiner Performance mit 16 mm Filmprojektoren und Filmschleifen an eine fruhe Figur des kinomatografischen Universum an: den fahrenden Projektionisten, der sein Publikum mit immer neuen Bildern zum Staunen bringt. Found footage aus Schulung, Industrie, Werbung, gefundenes Material und eigene Aufnahmen werden zu Loops und Mehrfachprojektionen zusammengefuhrt. Parallelbilder und Uberlagerungen die einen halluzinogenen Eindruck von der immateriellen Qualitat von analogen Lichtbildprojektionen ergeben. Bildmanipulationen erfolgen ausschlieslich in der Projekion. Projektions-Improvisationen die bis zum gezielten Verbrennen des Filmmaterials fuhren. burning celluloid ist immer ein Life-Event, die Akteure sind knatternde Projektoren, die visuellen Ereignisse nicht immer vorhersehbar. Mit seinen gebrannten, gekratzten und verschimmelten Filmschleifen hebt Georg Eisnecker die Kinoapparatur gewissermasen aus ihren Angeln und macht den Projektionisten zum Performer. |

Eisnecker ties in his performance with 16 mm film projectors and film loops of a figure of the early universe kinomatografischen: the mobile Projektionisten, his audience with new pictures to marvel.
